Redondo Beach Blvd. (ENV-2017-1015-EIR) in District 3, including the Initial Study and EIR process. After their presentation, there will be time to ask questions.
At our March 10, 2020 Board Meeting we voted to send a letter to City Planning regarding scoping elements to be considered in the Environmental Impact Report to be developed for the proposed Prologis project at Vermont and Redondo, 747-861 W. Redondo Beach Blvd.
Submit your Public Comment Until March 9 on the proposed 53-foot tall, 340,298 square-foot warehouse/manufacturing/high-cube warehouse/distribution center.
HGNNC has taken the position that “the Mitigated Negative Declaration is completely inadequate and incomplete and that the over-all proposed Project is incompatible and objectionable in many respects with the location and existing uses.”
The AQMD issued a letter with findings of more traffic from the Prologis project than the EIR and recommends mitigation steps including the use of newer trucks.
The Daily Breeze reports that residents are requesting a full environmental review of the proposed 406,422 square foot warehouse planned to operate around the clock.
The jury is out on whether the proposed distribution facility for 747 W. Redondo Beach Blvd would be great for the neighborhood. We are awaiting the traffic study and environmental impact report.
