The Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council was the first of nine Neighborhood Councils to have voted support for Council File 13-1152-S1 which placed a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing (“fracking”) and other well stimulation activities within City boundaries.

Central and Southern Mexico experienced a 7.2 magnitude earthquake this past spring. Seismologists have just announced that the San Francisco Bay area has four earthquake faults which are overdue for a major rupture. The San Andreas Fault and other faults impacting Southern California are all overdue to create major earth movement. Are you and your family prepared for the “Big One”?

On Saturday April 13, 2013 the Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council held its fifth biennial Health Fair at the 118th Street School. Principal Ra’Daniel McCoy was very helpful in supporting our efforts and helping to notify the parents and surrounding community of this free event.
