Learn the details of the proposed new affordable housing at 12003 S. Main Street and a Safe Parking site for homeless vehicles – Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council Board meeting on Tues. October 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Affirmed Housing will discuss their proposed new affordable housing at 12003 S. Main Street at the Tues. October 9 Board meeting of the Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood. The meeting takes place at 6:30 p.m. at the 116th Street School, 11610 S. Stanford Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90059. Parking will be available in the lot which you enter from 116th Street, with the side door to the auditorium nearby.
The Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) will explain the Safe Parking program which is being implemented throughout the City of Los Angeles, with a site on Figueroa Street proposed for the Harbor Gateway North area. LAHSA will also discuss having a site in the Harbor Gateway North area for the January 2019 homeless count.
The Board Meetings are the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
Quarterly Membership Meetings are on the 4th Tuesday of January, April, July & October.
The Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council will be hosting traveling Board meetings for the next several months. Our goal is to engage with the stakeholders within our neighborhood council boundaries. We want our community to know about their neighborhood council, volunteer to serve on committees. There are also upcoming opportunities to register as a candidate for the upcoming neighborhood council election in 2019. We seek diversity and inclusion on the Board representative of the Harbor Gateway North community.
Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach will be from 5:30pm – 6:30pm. The Board Meeting will begin at 6:30pm. We’re coming out to meet you, please join us.
