Board Meeting

Monthly Board Meetings are on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.


The Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council Board will hold its last meeting of 2017 on Tues. December 12 at 6:30 p.m. at the 135th Street School, 801 W. 135th Street, Gardena, CA 90247.

The Board will hear the recommendation of the HGNNC Planning and Land Use Committee for a comment letter on the proposed environmental mitigated negative declaration for the 54-foot tall, 466,402 square-foot Prologis warehouse/manufacturing/high-cube warehouse/distribution center with 246 automobile parking spaces along Redondo Beach Blvd. and 45 large truck parking bays on the north side of the property. Prologis is requesting 24-hour, seven day a week operation of the facility.

The Board will also consider requesting an extension for the public comment period on the MND until late January 2018 to allow more time for public review and comment. The public hearing is set for Wed. December 20 at 12 noon at City Hall, 200 N. Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012, Room 1020.

Additionally, the Board will begin discussing areas of the 2018-2019 City budget where more funding is needed in order to address the service request needs of HGNNC stakeholders.
