Homeless Issues Committee Meeting

The Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council Ad Hoc Homeless Issues Committee will meet on Tues. April 17 at 6:00 p.m. at the Harbor Gateway Community Center, 802 W. Gardena Blvd., Gardena, CA 90247.

The Committee will be setting the date in May for assembly and delivery to local schools of the 150 backpacks with toiletries which will be given out to homeless youth attending the Gardena Elementary School, 135th Street School, Figueroa Street School, 118th Street School, and 116th Street School which are within the Harbor Gateway North Neighborhood Council boundaries.

The Committee will also be receiving updates on the homeless situation within the HGNNC boundaries and discuss proposals for funding projects and non-profit agencies with 2018-2019 Neighborhood Council funds which would help impact those who are homeless within the HGNNC area.
